ABOUT
I'm an artist, project producer and technician from Cornwall. I create artworks, events and immersive experiences, with collaborations and artist-led projects forming a key part of my work.
My work investigates how processes of change can enable us to find alternative perspectives and new possibilities. I'm fascinated by the alchemical and transmutational abilities of matter, whether its tidal changes, geological movements, processes like enamelling copper or what might happen if a portal occurred. I draw on site-specific research to construct concepts and stories that consider our relationship to our environment, often exploring the weird and uncanny. Recurring themes include the magical and mystical, the biological and geological, the subterranean and fragmented. The outcomes take many forms including installation, sculpture, photography, image manipulation, writing, video, bookwork and painting.
Collaboration manifests throughout my working process, most recently as artist-duo Leifang Collective and a community focused commission with Harbour House Arts and Yoga. I also enjoy documentary photography and jewellery making.based in Cornwall, UK
